POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

During my short experience as an architecture student I would say that it has been really interesting to know that architecture it is related to many topics, not only constructive ones, like "making" architecture but investigation it's a really interesting option to me. I would like to take a course of History of Art and Architecture, because I think that can help me to understand the expression of the time through this artistic ways. Culture and the way that the human lives is known because of the study of this subjects and I think that maybe in the future people will know about our society as we know about the past.
Where to study it isn't something I thought about it, but I would like to complement the course with traveling. In History class, our teacher told us about the places that he visited and how you can feel being there and not only looking pictures. So, knowing physically the places, not only in a "tourist" way but really living in first person the experience could help me to understand somehting that i only knew because of books. How people live and express their vision of life day by day just living and how architecture it's an evidence of that.
So, I think that doing the course and traveling will contribute to complement my vision as an architect.

  1. WOW! History is great and It's amazing when you learn the different architecture expressions through time! and I agree with you, when you study a building and go there, it's a whole different story compared to go only as a tourist
