ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES
Learning English at Fau was in fact an
entertaining thing to do. It’s really important to train and try to communicate
our ideas through another language, English specifically because of the
predominance in the world of this language. Because of internet we can get
considerable information and some of them are only in English so it’s a really useful
tool. English classes and writing blogs were helpful ways to develop this tool.
About writing, sometimes it gets a really
tedious thing to do (at least for me). So it was great to choose some topics
for the blogs and share ideas about it, because it was more motivating and
helped us to exercise writing not only as an “English work”, but train writing
in general.
In my case I think that I have to practice
more listening, specifically “British English”, sometimes it sounds a little
confuse to me because of the accent I think. A good way to improve this may be
watching British films. I could do that definitely because I love watching
movies.
In general, I use English mostly to sing (I’m
awful doing that), because the music that I listen is in that language and that
helped me to learn more words and phrases that I can use when I’m speaking.
I have a friend and like a week ago her family
came from eeuu to have lunch in my house. They don’t speak Spanish at all, not
more than Hola, gracias, chao. So it was a great opportunity to use “my English”
to talk with them. It was an Spanglish conversation really.

If only people knew about spanglish :(
ResponderBorrarno, but really, I think having a spanglish conversation shows how adaptative people really are. so keep trying spanglish so someday it become an oficial lenguage
